beginning this with a disclaimer that ianto and i are both very new to the game/new amsterdam and thus still trying to find our footing here BUT

ianto is no stranger to emergency situations, so i think that he will do his best first to go out into the city and offer help wherever he can, to whoever he can. he doesn't necessarily have any medical training, but he does have a cool head under pressure thanks to the fact that he works for a secret underground organization tracking down and defending the uk from aliens.

i think that because of that experience he would be INTERESTED in helping out with team pyramid, but he's smart enough not to run out to attempt to do this on his own. his power requires a partner in order for it to work and is essentially being able to tell something's history, so i'm not quite certain how it might be helpful in these particular circumstances. or how helpful he might be with the pyramid thing in general, so he may end up staying in the city in general, but if anyone needs a partner...!
