Yes! Some of those trains will screech to a halt, while others will go directly off the tracks and cause major accidents. All of the trains will be put into an emergency state, making it so that doors can be manually opened from the inside - like on subways today, if you want to help hold a door for a friend or stranger who's rushing to get on - but they won't open on their own (because of the danger involved). An engineer, rescuer or similar related worker would also be able to hit an emergency button. The primary goal would be to keep the doors from functioning in an automated manner.
Thanks to the accidents, some of these doors won't be functioning perfectly, too - if you want there to be a bit of drama involved! Maybe they hit the button to get them to open, but the train itself had one of the more minor accidents. Some of the ones in major accidents will definitely be malfunctioning in a lot of ways.
