Hello! Hi! I forgot to OOC intro myself elsewhere, but here is Rodney McKay for you. He is mostly nonsense, but 'city breaking down and also planet imperiled' is basically Tuesday for him, this is just his jam. In his canon, he's pretty much usually the one to deal with whatever technological puzzle his show requires him to babble about (as long as there are others to help point out the obvious when he gets ahead of himself), so I'd like to throw him into the thick of things basically immediately.

• I'm gonna send him after the pyramid for sure, though, as part of whatever plotty bits are going to happen there. I think...we're organizing that...somewhere? Wherever that is, consider me throwing Rodney at it. :)
  
• As one of the new kids, he's going to be really interested in the ai communication stuff, because that's new and different and deeply alarming. He'd make short work icly of the cypher, but once he's figured it out, he's not going to know what to do with it.
  
• I would like to have him discover his power, too, which is static shield. It...zaps people and things when he's feeling anxious and keeps them from touching him. So it might be fun for him to short things out or shock things back to life, etc.
  
• Rodney's absolutely going to be whining at any medical types re: sunburn because he's super delicate (a.k.a. a slight hypochondriac), and trying to get his hands on as much sunblock as he can. So if anyone wants to be sunblock buddies and/or field his dramatics, hmu.
  
• Also misfires sound fun? :D?
