we're thinking post-tongue biting attempt, the reasoning being that the soldier's demonstration of a resistance to certain ideas and we feel that delving into those ideas might garner some resistance and possibly a breakthrough.

also, two more questions:

1. what sort of strain would stephen be able to read/if there will be any thoughts leaking to the surface? will this in any way shift post-tongue biting?

2. a third possibility re: the soldier was mentioned in chat, which i thought i would ask about. would it be feasible to keep the soldier in the caves for observation/study rather than killing him outright or letting him loose?

i'd assume that they'd at the very least need to have him under constant observation and find a way to mask his implant signal indefinitely as well?
