And if they were to push him harder on his personal ideals/feelings around this would there be any noticeable reaction? Not only how does he, as an individual, feel about essentially signing away his identity in service of the UNA but whether or not he was given a say in his recruitment -- since, as I understand, the UNA recruit their soldiers quite young.

Also would he be able to tell them how old he had been when he had been recruited? And from where? How does he feel about his service, etc?
