haha oh boy, these two definitely have things in common. maine is also in the 'no talking, only repressing' camp when it comes to feelings, particularly anything painful or traumatic. HE'S GOT THINGS TO DO, feelings are hard, he'll just be angry instead!! seems legit to him.

ty for the heads up! i really appreciate it ♥ maine hasn't actually lived that moment yet: he's from about two years before it happens. but he's used to people knowing more about his future than he does, and he's (mostly) learned how to deal with it.
