MARCH UPDATES
Howdy Larkers!
In line with the general motions that other DWRP games are making, we are making AC check-in only for the month of March. If you've taken a hiatus, this counts as your check-in, but otherwise please feel free to relax for the rest of the month. In addition, the HMD will be moved to next month.
New players accepted in March will only have to submit 10 comments across 2-4 threads for the April 2020 AC (which goes up on May 1, 2020).
With that said, a few additional notes of importance:
◉ Since the gamewide HMD is moving to next month, we know that a lot of players feel comfortable bringing concerns and suggestions to the mods on the HMD. If there is anything you'd like to bring up to us, please bring it to the mod contact post so we can address it. It's always open, and an easy way to get in contact with us. We're always eager to take feedback to help improve everyone's experience at Meadowlark.
◉ The CR meme will still go up as planned today (March 13), and the Arrival Log will still be going up tomorrow!
◉ The Metaplot Engagement Post is still planned for Monday, March 16. To give you guys a preview of this post, we have a section outlining specific plotting avenues, a section describing previous events to see if anyone would like a repeat of any of them (or elements from them), as well as a section to suggest DWRP-tropes and events that can get Meadowlarkized for future events. There will, of course, be a section to sign up for plot tidbits, as well. The turn around on this will be slower than originally planned, as we hoped to set up the plot tidbits for the second half of the month of March. This will now begin to take place over the end of the month and into April.
Overall, we want the game to reflect your wants and desires, and that's what this post will be all about!
◉ For non-event and overarching plot purposes, please feel free to hit up Plot Engagement at this time. The mods will be turning around on this as per usual (every Sunday!).
◉ As a reminder, the phrasing for Power Ups on the last Aftermath Post was all bungled, so if your character partook in the event in the ruins for at least five comments, please feel free to submit a power up. There was no need for power usage there. We'll be looking over outstanding submissions (and the Power Ups post itself) over the weekend.
Overall, we hope that this helps with all the offline stress that we're all experiencing during this time and makes things that are fun more manageable.
