I was thinking a little bit of A and B - Judas using Jason's own tendencies against him (ala the Joker knowing a Robin would rush in to save his mom and get boomed) and engineering it so that it's an even bigger mistake. Judas is also not entirely sane, so how crazy or messed up you want it to be is totally flexible.
