To clarify: in Maine's case, he wouldn't be trying to attract Judas' attention. He'd just be showing his bias towards AI, and his complete lack of sympathy towards the humans of this universe. His actions would remain the same regardless of whether or not it's a simulation — though they might become more extreme once he realizes it's all fake. (If he doesn't realize this though a glitch caused by empathy bond/power use, it'll become apparent once people start dying and coming back over and over.)
Basically, Maine has no plan. I'm just wondering if his AI bias would inadvertently get Judas' attention.
