Hey! I really can't see her as a secret Shrike - she'd believe in what she was doing so fiercely that she wouldn't want to hide it, and she's already got a patron in Hawke.

If that doesn't work with her being former Parliament, it's not a big deal - she'd identify much more with her work than any kind of rank, anyway. I just thought it might be an interesting twist if it was allowed in the world.
