Character name: Wade Wilson Warbler username: @ deadpool Power: Self-regeneration
Background:
- Born to a Shrike father and a Crow mother (he always uses the term Crow to describe her, call her Carrion and you'll be swallowing your own teeth). His mother died of an incurable illness when he was eleven and he left his emotionally neglectful father when he was sixteen.
- Was first conscripted to the Quarry at the age of 18 for a murder he may or may not have committed (it was a long time ago and he doesn't remember) and found his calling as an arena participant, quickly gaining a reputation for being a ruthless, inventive and unhinged killer-- a sentiment made even stronger by the fact that he can apparently switch off when he's not in the arena, becoming much more personable and pleasant.
- His ferocity on the battlefield coupled with his good looks and devil-may-care persona made him an instant celebrity among the ruling class, though members of the general Congregation more than likely wish to see him dead-- which ironically makes for good television every time he's entered into the arena. He's been officially "adopted" as a Crow by Marian Hawke, and while he has a good (if shallow) relationship with her, he has no strong feelings about Parliament one way or the other-- in his mind, he's using them as much as they are using him.
