Hello everyone,

There isn't any easy way to deliver news like this, but we as a mod team have decided to close down the game. We've realized that we've reached a point where we're all creatively tapped out and no longer have the time or energy to run a game that is this plot-focused and writing-heavy.

Unfortunately, this does mean that the upcoming North America event won't be happening, and we apologize to anyone who was looking forward to that, as well as to anyone who's still invested and interested in the game and their CR here. There won't be any endgame plots or logs, though anyone who's still in the communities is free to wrap up their threads.

We want to thank each and every one of you, whether you're someone who's been here from the very beginning or someone who just recently became interested in the game. Over the entirety of the game's life, we've enjoyed creating plots for you and giving you threading opportunities and ways to strengthen your CR in what were hopefully fun and exciting ways. We enjoyed unraveling the secrets of Meadowlark's world with you, and watching the world unfurl with everyone's actions, whether that was something we had planned well in advance or something we made up with you as we went along.

This past year was really rough, and we're especially grateful to all of you who stuck around through it. If what we created here was ever able to distract you from the awful stuff going on in the world, or relieve some of that stress, then we're glad to have been part of that.

SO North America is pretty interesting at the moment! This is an ooc post so anyone with characters who are interested in going there for whatever reasons can post and chat and organise how things could happen.

From the mods, when I asked on the plot engagement:
Essentially, we want getting to North America to be a gamewide plot, and that will be the easiest way to accomplish it because of the logistics. A bus/car definitely won't get anyone there. A boat is an option, but he'd need to figure out a way to acquire one that's up to the journey and amass a "crew" who has the skills and know-how to actually sail a boat such a long distance. Anyone involved in this will need to be careful because of the UN's surveillance drones and possible boat routes. Plus, who knows what's waiting for them when they get to their destination?

The main question:
HOW to get there (without being stopped/help up/spied on by the UN)?
flying seems to be the fastest way, with people's various powers to help avoid the UN, but getting a boat might be easier than getting a plane, and there are various people who have boat-skills

Other question:
WHAT are they looking to find answers to?
WHERE in North America are they going to?
WHO is interested in going? How many people can go based on the means of transport?
Especially looking for people with powers that could help them avoid any kind of surveillance getting out of the city or while traveling
Who's going to pay for it all???
