Hello everyone! Welcome to Meadowlark. We're very excited to get things rolling, and we wanted to have an organized place for everyone to introduce themselves. As a reminder, this is more of a mingle so we start chatting! Our first CR meme will go up on August 11th after everyone has a better idea of how things are going to go in game. The game opens this Saturday, August 4th with a log that will include the arrival process for everyone. So, have at it! We're very excited to meet everyone.

Hi everyone! I'm Jem! It's been a little bit since I've been in a game proper, but I'm ready to dive back in. I like plurking about design, video games, art and crafts!

I'm bringing Ciri from the Witcher series — more precisely her Witcher 3 counterpart as opposed to books (still... diving through those...). She's a disaster bi who finds herself being pursued for her ~powerful blood~ in her canon. She's pretty smart mouthed, willing to dive into things, and most importantly, awkwardly make friends. :/

HOW MUCH CIRI IS ACTUALLY IN WITCHER 3

i'm being convinced to play it but i'm literally only interested in ciri help me temper my expectations

OK SO LIKE THE FIRST HALF OF THE GAME? NADA, maybe 2-3 playable ciri moments, but everyone dotes on her so. doki.

but.

the second half is ciri central. i definitely say if you dont stray from main quests, you can hella focus on ciri content.

Hi there! I just started playing The Witcher 3 over the summer so I'm excited to learn more about her. ...If I ever get around to re-installing it on my new computer. I'm lazy, lol. But yeah, the game is really cool and I should get back into it.

it's definitely a time sink! but it's so rewarding and honestly one of my favorite universe/worldbuilding games.

I know I should have played the first and second games, but I bought the third in a game sale after watching Twitch streamers play it and right away I was like "Wow. Dark. Like darker than Dragon Age, and that's saying a lot." But in a good way, of course!

FIRSTLY i love ciri to a ridiculous degree. i started reading the books for her, actually. her family drama is even more ridiculous than i could have ever imagined but that is the witcher for you.

secondly, kerry's been telling me amazing things about you and i am even more excited now to be both in a game with you and to be in game with a ciri. so, um, hi!

im needing to finish the books. i'm a gamer at heart, so it's difficult for me to sit down and read. i *love* what i have heard about her — i hope to definitely pull inspo/personality from her book counterpart so i'm excited. very much so.

i wonder if they have them on audiobook, since they definitely feel like something that would be easier to digest that way. she is a delight. as is her mother and grandmother. the fire runs in the family, put it that way. and geralt is 700% not prepared for any of it.

AND ADDED. i bought the special addition with all the expansions etc to start over my vacation, since it's literally my favorite game, so expect an uptick in plurking about it. by a lot.

I'm also one of those people who needs to play Witcher 3. 50% for Ciri and 50% for Yennefer, who I think I love despite never playing the game.
